Italy's Trento Province helps overcome Xangsane consequences

The Italian province of Trento gave non-refundable aid for the Son Tra people to continue their efforts in minimizing the consequences of the Xangsane typhoon. This "Relief for overcoming Xangsane consequences” project is carried out by the Gruppo Trentino di Volontariato (GTV) Organization.

The EUR55,570 project will receive EUR50,013 from the Trento Province and EUR5,557 from the Danang PC. It aims to restore the second location of the Tran Quoc Toan Primary School (Tho Quang Ward) and the Nai Hien Dong Ward health clinic (Son Tra District) to ensure good conditions for study and health care for the local people. The Son Tra District People's Committee has been assigned to cooperate with relevant agencies to manage the aid and carry out the project on time.
