200 tonnes of rice for Danang Ketsana victims

The Danang People’s Committee has decided to allocate 200 tonnes of rice paid for by the government to city districts, including 20 tonnes for Thanh Khe, 20 tonnes for Lien Chieu, 20 tonnes for Son Tra, 40 tonnes for Cam Le, 20 tonnes for Ngu Hanh Son and 80 tonnes for Hoa Vang.

The Steering Board for Flood and Storm Mitigation and Search and Rescue of the city reported that recent typhoon Ketsana and its following flood left 08 dead, including 02 of Son Tra District, 04 of Cam Le District and 02 of Hoa Vang District, and 96 injured in Danang. Total damage is estimated at VND495bil.
